Adhesive Polymer Cleaning and Removal Device Clean Shot
It has become possible to safely and reliably cleanly remove polymers that have thermally bonded to various metal parts in a short time.
The Clean Shot is a cleaning and removal device for adhered polymers that applies the organic transformation blast method, consisting of a carbonization furnace (transformation furnace) and air blast. In the carbonization furnace, workpieces (parts) with adhered polymers are subjected to heat treatment under a trace oxygen atmosphere, dissolving and carbonizing the polymers. During this carbonization process, most of the polymers that were thickly adhered to the workpiece dissolve and flow into a collection tray located at the bottom of the carbonization furnace. The polymers that remain adhered to the workpiece without flowing off remain as a carbonized film on the surface of the workpiece. By utilizing the property of air blast that is "less effective on soft, thick films, but extremely effective on thin, hard films," adhered polymers can be effectively removed in a short time. A demonstration unit is available.
